Christopher D Matesi, DDS

Founder & Oral & Maxillofacial Radiologist

Originally from Chicago, IL, Dr. Matesi graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry in 2012. He practiced general dentistry in private practice for seven years, performing a wide range of procedures including endodontics, implant placement, and prosthodontics.

His interest gravitated toward the diagnostic, treatment-planning, and technological sides of dentistry — a natural fit for radiology. In 2019 he began his Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology residency at the University of Florida, where he was selected as chief resident during his PGY-2 year and completed his OMR residency training in December 2021.

That clinical background shapes how he reports: a mix of clinical relevance and academic depth, with clear guidance on next steps when it’s useful. He aims for customized reports that highlight what matters for your practice, with a standard turnaround of 2–4 business days and optional Rush 24-hour and STAT 3-hour service for urgent cases. He also offers tailored consultation on imaging equipment, software, and radiology workflow.

Laura Tsu, DDS, MS

Laura Tsu, DDS, MS

Associate Oral & Maxillofacial Radiologist

A California native, Dr. Tsu studied at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating in 2017.

After dental school she served as a general dentist in the U.S. Army. While stationed in South Korea, she worked alongside talented specialists and discovered a love for diagnostics and radiology — an endodontist would review CBCT scans with her, showing how to assess for missed canals, recognize anatomical variation, and judge whether retreatment was predictable. The more scans she read, the more she wanted to see beyond 2-D radiography to better serve her patients.

After the military and private practice, she pursued Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology, completing her residency at UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry in 2024, where she served as chief resident in Fall 2023. Her research interests include vertical root fracture detection and the accuracy of linear measurements in CBCT.

As an OMR, she brings the perspective of both a practicing dentist and a radiologist, helping clients understand and act on the findings from CBCT and other advanced imaging.
